Returns and Exchanges

If you wish to return or exchange an item, please email us at shop@irelandbeforeyoudie.com to request a return. In your email, kindly state the reason for your return or exchange, whether it’s for a refund or a size exchange. This is the first step in the process, and we will guide you through the next steps.

Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.

Certain items are exempt from being returned, including perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers), newspapers or magazines, intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases, gift cards, downloadable software products, and some health and personal care items.

Exchanges and Refunds for Clothing and Jewellery

For clothing and jewellery, we offer size exchanges. However, we can only issue a full refund if the item is defective or damaged. As most of our products are made and printed to order to avoid waste, we cannot offer refunds for non-defective items.

Refund Process

Once we have received your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment within a few days. If rejected, we will provide a clear explanation based on the return condition.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted for items that show obvious signs of use, such as opened CDs, DVDs, software, vinyl records, or items not in their original condition. Items returned after the 30-day period may not qualify for a full refund.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the item is received. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, the refund will go to the original purchaser.

Shipping Your Return

Once your return is approved via email, we will provide you with the nearest return address. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If your return is valued over €75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to ensure the safe return of your item, as we cannot guarantee receipt.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund within the expected time, please check your bank account and contact your credit card company or bank, as it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
